The Scholarship Awards Dinner, “A Salute to Heroes” is a partnership with The Center Foundation, businesses and the community to celebrate “what’s right with Central Oregon kids”.   This amazing event, which is NOT a fundraiser, honors the community, parents and  outstanding high school students.  If you would like to join business leaders such as the Bank of the Cascades, Therapeutic Associates, Inc, Moss Adams, Wells Fargo Private Bank, Remington Ranch, The Center, Clear Choice, Brooks Resources and others, be a part of the “Salute to Heroes” and become a sponsor.    On May 7th,2008 at the Riverhouse we will:

• Recognize the 9 High Desert Heroes for 2007-08
• Award $1,500 scholarships to 10 outstanding high school juniors
• Award the prestigious $5,000 William K Worrell Scholarships to two  high school Seniors.
• Celebrate “what’s right with kids” as you meet some of Central Oregon's outstanding young  people and future community leaders
• Present keynote speaker and World Cup athlete Sandy Dukat
• Enjoy a three course dinner
