Dr. Timothy Bollom is the only sports medicine fellowship trained surgeon in Central Oregon that has completed the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery Subspecialty in Sports Medicine. This intensive, focused training allows him to continually stay ahead of advancing surgical techniques and technologies. He treats patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds, with a focus on comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of knee and shoulder disorders. From simple arthroscopy to total joint replacement he utilizes minimally invasive techniques and a sports medicine philosophy of returning patients to normal activity as quickly as possible.
Dr. Bollom was drawn to the medical field because he knew he wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. He is very active in our community, serving as the Medical Director for Mt. Bachelor National Ski Patrol and Medical Director for Cascade Surgery Center. He is also Team Physician for Bend High School, Sisters High School, XC Oregon and the Bend Elks. Whether he is on the sidelines of a high school game or performing surgery, he has positively impacted thousands of lives in our community. And when he gets to see a patient he’s treated out and about again, he says it’s the best feeling in the world.
